We were contracted to do the ceremony on the beach as well as the reception. Then, the rains came, and it rained, and thundered, and rained, and rained harder. The ceremony was then going to be in the reception location. But! It stopped raining, and the skies cleared a little bit. The decision was left up to me (gulp), so I had to counter with "I will do whatever the bride wants me to do" (has never failed me in 23 years). So off I go to cart the equipment to the beach (over 1/4 mile through the dunes on a walkway) and thank God Kris helped. Setup the system, cranked up the generator and had sound going in less than 5 minutes. THEN IT STARTED RAINING AGAIN! The Cabana guy sets me up with a big umbrella and I crank the system back up now covered, and it stops raining again. Christine arrives in an ATV driven by the lifeguard on the beach, the wedding party in place on the beach, and the ceremony goes without a drop of rain (thank you!!). The reception was an absolute blast as well, but no drama to speak of. Just a couple in love with their family and friends celebrating a new beginning. Best of luck to you Kris and Christine.
