Some people are just born to be together, Chris and Amy just happen to
be two of those extremely fortunate people that find each other. We were tasked to do both the
ceremony sound support as well as the reception which was held at the Butterfly Gardens of the
Norfolk Botanical Garden. Because of the logistics involved and the heavy rains we've been having
lately we thought it best to double team this one so Rex and I did this one together.
(and my van got stuck in the mud) Fortunately, the beer truck was able to pull me out.
It was bud and bud light kegs too, so I see a new "Here's to you Mr. beer truck driver, bud commercial.
I was MC and Rex spun the tunes. Had an absolute blast.
Amy was lovely, her mom Bonnie a delight to deal with, Chris looked like a dapper dan and his family
was great as well. His father performed the wedding ceremony. Their family musician Mike sang two
great renditions during the ceremony, and everyone just threw down at the reception despite the
water, mud, mess, mosquitos and the humidity. People forgot about their creature comforts for a
few hours, and celebrated a new marriage the way we encourage couples to do it, make it uniquely you.
I'll never forget the mud puddle fight! Best of luck to you Amy and Chris, it was certainly a most
memorable and enjoyable day, now if I can only get the mud out of my ear. :)
